Explore Jainism is a comprehensive website dedicated to uniting all sects of Jainism and providing detailed descriptions of Jain temples across India and abroad. The platform aims to be a central hub for information about Jainism, including its sects, festivals, Tirthankaras, and other aspects of the faith. To reflect its mission of inclusivity and reverence for Jain principles, Explore Jainism required a logo that encapsulates the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of Jainism, while also presenting a unified and holistic representation of the religion.
The Creative Process
The design process for the Explore Jainism logo intricately combines symbolic elements to reflect the depth of Jain spirituality. The outer capsule frame signifies inclusivity and unity, embodying Jainism's diverse branches. Twelve dots represent the Tirthankaras, emphasizing the faith's spiritual continuity. Central to the logo is a meditative Acharya/Upadhyaya, symbolizing tranquility and focus. The Maharaja's head, formed by a crescent moon and Bindu, represents Siddhashila and spiritual insight. Additionally, the infinity symbol in the Maharaja’s folded legs highlights infinite spiritual growth. Together, these elements create a logo that captures the essence of Jain values and traditions.
